Сompany, that owns the Borbonese brand, is more than 100 years old now. It was established in Turin in 1910, by milliner Lucia Lorenzoni Ginestrone. In the 50-ies, her son Umberto Gitnestrone, together with Edoardo Calcagno, registered the name Borbonese. In Borbonese creative laboratory, they came up with a special skin treatment technology called "O.P." (Occhio di Pernice - Partridge Eye), which is a hallmark of the brand, as well as the famous Luna Bag, dedicated to putting a man on the moon. Currently, the creative director of Borbonese is Francesca Mambrini. The famous models, London bag and Lady Butterfly, were created under her leadership.
